The Unthanks are a folk band from Northumbria.
Formed in 2004, originally as Rachel Unthank And The Winterset, the band released two albums before changing their line-up and name. They released ‘Here's the Tender Coming’ in 2009, and have since gone on to put out a further 10 records, the most recent being 'Sorrows Away' in 2022. They will follow it up with the double LP 'In Winter' in December 2024. The Unthanks will support their new album with a UK and Ireland tour of the same name in winter 2024.
