The Wedding Present are an indie-rock band from Leeds.
Formed in 1985, the band released five albums together before disbanding in 1997. They reformed in 2004—with a slightly different line-up—and have since gone on to put out a further four studio records including, most recently, 'Going, Going...' in 2016. They've also put out countless compilations, live records and EPs over the years, including the '24 songs' compilation in 2023.
