The Word Alive is an American metalcore band from Phoenix, Arizona, comprising vocalist Tyler Smith, guitarists Zack Hansen and Jose DelRio, and drummer Daniel Nelson.
Formed in 2008, a year later the band signed to Fearless Records. Their debut album, ‘Deceiver’, arrived in 2010, followed by 'Life Cycles' two years later. Their third full-length release, 'Real', dropped in 2014, followed by 'Dark Matter' in 2016, 'Violent Noise' in 2019 and 'Monomania' in 2020. Their seventh studio LP, 'Hard Reset', will arrive in August 2023. The Word Alive will support the record's release with a North American tour beginning in August 2023.
