Thundercat—real name Stephen Bruner—is a multi-genre bass guitarist, producer and singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California.
Starting his music career in 2002, he was a member of Suicidal Tendencies before he released five studio albums of his own. His most recent, 'It Is What Is Is', arrived in 2020, and earned him one of his two Grammy Award wins. He is also known for his work as a session musician, having notably worked on Kendrick Lamar's ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ and Childish Gambino's ‘Because The Internet’, as well as music from Flying Lotus, Erykah Badu and Mac Miller. Thundercat has confirmed a UK and Ireland for spring 2024, which includes four nights at London's KOKO, as part of a wider European run.
