Tower of Power are an R&B and funk band based in Oakland, California.
Formed in 1968, the band released their debut album, ‘East Bay Grease’, in 1970. Since then, they have released a total of 21 albums and several live records, with their most recent studio serving being 'Step Up' in 2020. As well as their own music, the band have also collaborated with the likes of Otis Redding, Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Huey Lewis, Heart, Stevie Nicks, Grateful Dead, Carlos Santana, Journey, Rod Stewart, Jefferson Starship, Toto and many more.
