Turbonegro are a Norwegian punk band initially active from 1989 to 1998, then reformed in 2002. Their style combines glam rock, punk rock and hard rock into a style the band describes as deathpunk.
Their debut album, 'Hot Cars and Spent Contraceptives', dropped in 1992, but it wasn't until their fourth album, 'Apocalypse Dudes' in 1998, that they charted, reaching #20 on the Norwegian album charts.
