We Are The Ocean are a rock band from Loughton, Essex.
Formed in 2007, they quickly built up an army of fans as an unsigned band, dropping their self-titled debut EP the following year and selling 1000 limited edition copies in just one day. They went on to release their first studio album 'Cutting Our Teeth' in 2010, before switching up their early post-hardcore sound for a more alt-rock direction with the three LPs that followed. Their most recent full-length record, 'ARK', arrived in 2015, before announcing their split two years later. After a five year hiatus, the band confirmed their return to music in July 2022.
