Houston began singing in church as a child, and after signing to Arista Records at the age of 19, paved the way for an incredible career. She released seven studio albums and two soundtrack albums during her career, all of which have been certified diamond, multi-platinum, platinum, or gold.

She is perhaps best known for her acting debut in the romantic thriller The Bodyguard in 1992, for which she received Grammy Awards for Record of the Year with I Will Always Love You and Album of the Year for the movie's soundtrack.

Houston died in 2012 aged just 48. But wait, the legend lives on!
