Wild Beasts are an indie rock band from Kendal, England, consisting of vocalist and guitar player Hayden Thorpe, guitarist Ben Little, bassist and Tom Fleming and drummer Chris Talbo.
Formed in 2002, the band released their first single, Brave Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants, in 2006, and went on to sign for Domino Records, with whom they went onto release debut album ‘Limbo, Panto’ in 2008. The band’s following two albums ‘Two Dancers’ in 2009 and ‘Smother’ in 2011 continued their rise. Their last album, ‘Present Tense’, arrived in 2014, and reached the Top Ten in the UK Albums Chart. They released their latest album, ‘Boy King’, in August 2016. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK and have played festivals such as Latitude, Longitude and ATP. Wild Beasts have confirmed the band's split, but are set to play three farewell shows in February, along with new final material - the EP ‘Punk Drunk And Trembling’ is set to land on October 20.
