Will Smith is an actor, rapper, and film producer from Philadelphia.
He began his career in the entertainment industry as one half of hip-hop group DJ Jazzy Jeff And The Fresh Prince, in which he was an MC, turntablist and producer. The duo went on to have a hugely successful career, winning two Grammy Awards and landing several top 10 singles. His four solo albums also earned him two Grammys for his efforts. In 1990, he signed a deal with NBC to create a sitcom based around him which was, of course, The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air. The series was a global success and paved the way for an incredibly successful career, landing roles in huge box office films such as Independence Day, I Am Legend, Enemy Of The State, Collateral Beauty and the Bad Boys and Men In Black franchises, among many others. He has been nominated for five Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards for his work and has become one of the most famous faces in Hollywood.
