Zakk Wylde is an American heavy metal musician, singer and songwriter, from Bayonne, New Jersey.
Starting his music career in 1987, he became lead guitarist and co-writer for Ozzy Osbourne, and played on five of his studio albums. He formed Black Label Society in 1998, who released their debut album, ‘Sonic Brew’ in 1999, and have since gone on to release a further eight albums, their latest being, ‘Catacombs of the Black Vatican’ in 2014. He has released two solo albums, ‘Book of Shadows’ in 1996, and ‘Book of Shadows II’ in 2016. Zakk Wylde is set to play London’s O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in May, before a tour of North America and Europe.
