Amplifier are an English rock band hailing from Manchester. Formed in 1999, the group consists of frontman Sel Balamir, guitarist Steve Durose, bassist Alexander 'Magnum' Redhead, and drummer Matt Brobin.
Earning their first deal in 2002 with Music for Nations, Amplifier would go on to support Deftones on tour, and put out their self-titled debut album in 2004. Since then, they've been extensively touring the UK and Europe and, when not on the tour bus, recording new material, notching up four more records in the process.
