Bigbang are a South Korean boyband who are one of the forerunners of the recent K-pop explosion which has seen the music of career invading the Western music industry - a movement spearheaded by Psy’s mega smash-hit ‘Gangnam Style’. Formed back in 2006, the five-piece dance-pop outfit have quickly become one of the most successful Asian acts in the world right now.

Their big break came in 2007, when their track ‘Lies’ hit #1 in the Korean chart - and stayed there for a record-breaking seven consecutive weeks. With six albums of material under their belt, they’ve recently started breaking into Europe and the UK - and play their first ever British gigs in December 2012.
