Car Bomb are an American mathcore band based in Long Island, New York. Formed in 2000, the band consists of Michael Dafferner, Elliot Hoffman, Greg Kubacki and Jon Modell.

Initially started after its members shared a rehearsal space whilst active in other groups, Car Bomb would eventually release their first demo in 2004. They dropped their first LP, 'Centralia', in 2007 via Relapse Records.

After touring with the likes of Gojira and the Chariot, Car Bomb would return with their next offering, 'w^w^^w^w', in 2012. Their third offering, 'Meta', hit the shelves in 2016.
