Back in 1987, Alice in Chains were escorted from their rehearsal space by Seattle's finest police force due to frankly silly amounts of Marijuana being on the premises (nothing to do with them of course). This has absolutely no relevance to the fact that they’ve recently announced their UK tour dates. Click here for tickets.

If anybody can tell us why they’re called Ocean Colour Scene, please do. It’s a brilliant name, but the internet is just refusing to give up the goods on this and we can’t get Steve Fowler on the blower. It would probably help if we had his phone number, so if anyone’s got that and wouldn’t mind passing it over…. They’re on tour by the way. Click here for tickets.

LA supergroup Them Crooked Vultures has a stellar line up. Featuring Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age) on guitar/vocals, Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters/Nirvana) on drums, John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) on bass, it is no surprise to learn that together they form a fantastic live unit.
They rocked Reading and Leeds Festivals this summer and you can now catch them live on their UK tour this December, and their debut album, 'Never Deserved the Future', is set to be released later this year.

Music stars, songwriters and producers have collectively given the finger to the British government’s new plan to ban persistent music sharers from the internet.
The Government’s Digital Britain report stated its aim was to reduce file-sharing by 70% in the first year. In a move that has commentators speculating on exactly how far the government will bend over and spread ‘em for big business, some of the proposed methods include suspending the Internet accounts of repeat file-sharers or to release their identities making it easier for them to be sued. Cheers, the government.

Stereophonics homecoming gig at Cardiff Castle on October 3rd sold out this morning in less than 40 minutes.
Hundreds, possibly thousands, of fans were left disappointed after queuing all morning only to be confronted with the dreaded sold out message.
The Cardiff Castle venue holds a 10,000 capacity licence and See Tickets, who provided the fulfilment for the gig, could not keep up with the unprecedented demand for tickets as users were left refreshing a queue page - which ultimately proved futile.

Like a musical T1000, the Bee Gee’s are reforming for a series of live shows.
