Badly Drawn Boy, aka Damon Gough, has announced details of a UK tour in October, his first in three years. The dates coincide with the new Badly Drawn Boy single and album slated for release this September and October respectively.
Penning the soundtrack to last year's Caroline Aherne film The Fattest Man in Britain sparked a period of unprecedented creativity for Gough, resulting in a wealth of great new songs.
Gough decided the best way to capture this surge, and give the songs the exposure they deserved was to release a trilogy of albums. The trilogy is called 'It's What I'm Thinking' and 'Part 1 - Photographing Snowflakes' is released October 4th.
Saturday 16th October Scarborough, Spa Theatre
Sunday 17th October Holmfirth, Picturedrome
Monday 18th October Birmingham Town Hall
Wednesday 20th October Glasgow, Old Fruit Market
Thursday 21st October Manchester, Royal Northern College Of Music
Monday 25th October Bristol, St Georges
Wednesday 27th October London, Bloomsbury Theatre
Badly Drawn Boy tickets are onsale this Friday 30th July at 9am, with support for the tour yet to be confirmed.
