Following the critically acclaimed release of this year’s ‘Root For Ruin’ album on Wichita Records and a series of life-affirming live performances, Les Savy Fav are set to return to the UK in February next year for the following dates:
February 2011
22 - NME Brats @ Heaven, London
23 - The Globe, Cardiff
24 - Moho, Manchester
25 - Sounds Bar, Birmingham
26 - The Kazimier, Liverpool
27 - Corporation, Sheffield
March 2011
01 - The Tunnels, Aberdeen
02 - Cluny, Newcastle
"We started playing the new songs out live and they are so fun to play that we suddenly want to play them more and more,” explains frontman Tim Harrington. “This spring/summer we are looking forward to doing more shows then we've done in a long time. Playing unique/crazy festivals and stuff is great but there is something about bringing all of our energy into a small dank sweat filled room- the energy is so concentrated that it feels like the place could blow open like a shook champagne bottle"
The band will also release ‘Dirty Knails’ as a single to coincide with the tour.
