Mercury Music Prize winners Elbow have announced a warm-up show for their forthcoming arena tour, playing a small show in the intimate surroundings of Cambridge Junction on 2nd March. Elbow are set to return next Spring after announcing a major UK arena tour for their fifth studio album.
Elbow's atmospheric live shows are an experience to behold and after a successful tour and show-stopping performance at 2008’s Glastonbury festival Guy Garvey and his mates return with a March arena tour (their first headline arena tour) and a brand new album ‘Build A Rocket Boys’ for 2011. Elbow have so far confirmed seven dates for the tour which will support the release of their follow-up to 2008's Mercury Prize-winning 'Seldom Seen Kid'. The new album is expected to be released in early 2011.
The tour is set to include some surprises with Garvey revealing to fans. "There will be some theatre involved, There are a few very special guests on the record, and hopefully they’ll be coming out with us live as well."
