Twenty-one years after the release of their second album 'Bezerk' - an album that defined the whole turn-of-the-decade glam-metal zeitgeist - Tigertailz have announced a trio of shows for May 2011.
Expect blow-your-mind live performances from Tigertailz as they rally the clans across the UK, making fans young and old proud of this classic Welsh metal band. Tigertailz have experienced a line-up that has revolved faster than one of those kids' spinning tops, as well as the tragic loss of bassist Pepsi Tate, but where other bands have called it quits, Tigertailz have never changed their style and have never imploded.
January last year saw Tigertailz recruit Sarah Firebrand as their new, permanent bass player, they also announced some special live shows that saw the band play their most successful album 'Bezerk' in its entirety.
Following a show at Cardiff's Fuel Rock Club in April last year, the show helped raise money for the Amser Justin Time charity which was set up in former bassist Pepsi Tate's memory, the band headed out to Stockholm for a performance at the Rock Out Festival.
Following a succesful headline show at last year's Hard Rock Hell and the release of live album 'Bezerk Live Burnin' Fuel', Tigertailz are set to record their new studio album sometime this year. In the meantime, continuing to bring glam, sleaze, pop and cheese to the British hard rock scene, they have the poodle hair and they are responsible for 16% of the hole in the ozone layer, be sure to check out one of their shows this May!
