Haircut One Hundred To Perform 'Pelican West' In Its Entirety This Friday!

Haircut One Hundred will perform their 1982 album ‘Pelican West’ for the very first time in its entirety on Friday 28th January. Original founding members Nick Heyward, Graham Jones, Leslie Nemes and Blair Cunningham will reunite for what promises to be an unforgettable evening.
BBC 6 Music DJ Mark Jones, also of Back to the Phuture, will spin all the 80s’ pop classics. Support comes from The Quotes who take to the stage at 19:45, followed by Haircut One Hundred at 21:00.
The Haircuts’ infectious combination of rhythmic and melodic guitar pop was a massive influence on the Britpop movement that followed in the early 90s.
Haircut One Hundred scored four UK Top 10 hit singles between 1981-82, including ‘Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl)’ and ‘Love Plus One’. The debut album ‘Pelican West’ was #2 in the UK album chart. Their 1981 debut single ‘Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl)’ reached #4 in the UK singles chart, followed by ‘Love Plus One’ at #3, and both ‘Fantastic Day’ and ‘Nobody’s Fool’ at #9.
