Texas Reform For Summer 2011 Outdoor Shows & Tickets

Iconic Scottish rock act Texas are back this summer, and are the first act to be officially announced as part of Epsom’s music line-up for 2011. The group will perform on Thursday 30th June following racing to kick start the first of five music nights, which continue to run every Thursday throughout July at Epsom Downs Racecourse.
Other acts on the lineup include the UK return of The Beach Boys and latest hit boy band The Wanted, with two more to be confirmed shortly.
Texas' lead singer, Sharleen Spiteri, will front performances of hit singles including; 'I Don’t Want a Lover' and 'When We Are Together' from their UK number one albums, 'White On Blonde' and 'The Hush'.
Despite enjoying most of their success in the 80’s and 90’s, the band is now preparing for the release of their greatest hits album later in the year and commented: “We’re thrilled to be playing at Epsom Downs Racecourse in the summer. There’s always a brilliant crowd at these gigs and we have a great day out too!”
