Following months of touring in North America to round off 2010, British thrashers Evile are back on the road in their homeland as they kick off a five-date headlining UK tour.
Evile will be tearing their way around the UK with support from fellow Brit thrashers Elimination and Mutant. Each show of the tour will also feature a winning band from Evile's recent support slot competition in conjunction with Metal Hammer.
Evile lead guitarist Ol Drake comments: "I'm just about to step out of the door to embark on our last set of dates before going into the studio to record Evile's third album. Quickly reading through the Evile feature in today's Kerrang! has put me quite in the mood for getting back out there, even if it is for five dates in the UK. Really excited to see all those smiling faces going mental, and hopefully we'll have a raw version of a new track to play for you all.
"50 years ago today, The Beatles played the Cavern in Liverpool. 50 years after, Evile play the Academy in Manchester. It will be remembered. Just... not like The Beatles Cavern thing. Probably from me falling over, or forgetting a solo or something."
