Twenty Twenty Reveal Details Of Debut Album 'Small Talk' - Out May 2nd

At last, hotly tipped pop-rock newcomers Twenty Twenty offer their legions of fans something to get their teeth into with ‘Small Talk,’ their eight track mini album. Designed to satiate the hungry appetites of their legions of loyal fans, ‘Small Talk’ will provide just a taste of the pop genius to come – in the form of their first full debut album in the autumn.

The mini album, released through the band’s new label Geffen, includes the forthcoming single ‘Love To Life,’ as well as previous independent release ‘Get Down,’ which earned the title of Kerrang! video of the week. Influenced by an array of pop genres and laden with hooky riffs, emotive melodies, pulsing beats and heart-stopping vocals, ‘Small Talk’ is an impressive introduction to a band on the verge of mainstream mania.

Crafted with the help of purveyors of pop perfection such as Julian Emery (McFly, Simple Plan, Lissie) and Charlie Holmes (The Saturdays) ‘Small Talk’ features eight songs destined to have the band’s fans in rapture. Jack says: ‘We’ve been very lucky to write with some of the industries top producers, including Guy Chambers and Steve Robson – two industry greats. These guys have worked with Robbie, Kylie and Mcfly, they’re the best of the best.”

This February, Twenty Twenty have been adding to their already well-subscribed fan base by touring as support on The Saturdays UK ‘Headlines’ tour. Now confirmed to support label-mates The Wanted on their UK 16-date sold-out tour throughout March and April including stops in Manchester, Bournemouth and Glasgow, the band look set to extend their audience even further.

British born Twenty Twenty are lead singer and guitarist Sam Halliday, his brother bassist Jack Halliday and drummer Sonny Watson-Lang. The band formed in early 2009 and steadily created an incredible buzz prior to their major label signing with Geffen Records. Honing their craft playing live shows with the likes of JLS, McFly, Selena Gomez and The Sugababes, as well as touring the UK on their own headline sold-out tours throughout 2010, the band amassed a huge fan base, culminating in over 53,000 Facebook fans, 13,000 Twitter fans - and growing in thousands every week. Their independently released live DVD hit number 4 on the music charts, further proving their already impressive following.

Now with major label support, a full album scheduled for later this year and their own headline tour on the horizon, 2011 looks like being a busy time for this talented trio. Sam says, ‘It’d be amazing if people knew who we are.” And by the end of 2011, everyone will.
