Nicki Minaj has been involved in an attack in a Dallas hotel, according to reports. The female rapper is said to have entered into an argument with a male companion at the hotel pool, before calling the police claiming that she had been hit in the lower lip.
According to TMZ, police were called to the Palomar Hotel after the ‘Pink Friday’ star apparently had an “intense verbal spat” with a man who she was said to be staying in the hotel with.
Minaj is then said to have told a hotel employee to call the police before going back to her hotel room with the unidentified male. TMZ goes on to claim that when the police and ambulance did arrive, Minaj reported that the man had punched her on the lower lip.
Minaj allegedly stated that she did not wish to press charges, also claiming that she was not in a relationship with her companion. The anonymous male reportedly left the scene of the attack before authorities arrives at the Dallas hotel.
Minaj was staying in Dallas due to her support slot on the Britney Spears ‘Femme Fatale’ tour. Neither Minaj nor her representatives have commented on the incident so far.
