Noel Gallagher: "Foo Fighters, Radiohead & Green Day Should Play Oasis Songs"

Noel Gallagher, one half of the (extremely) outspoken Gallagher brothers, told the Rolling Stone yesterday that Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Green Day gigs could be easily improved – if they started playing Oasis songs.
Noel told the magazine that he would continue to play Oasis songs live, whatever band he was performing with – and thinks that multiple bands should adopt the same mentality.
“I've always thought most bands should play Oasis songs, anyway.” said Gallagher. “The Foo Fighters should definitely do a couple. Green Day could do even more than one or two. Radiohead? I mean, let's face it. It'd be a better night out.”
He also admitted that he would continue to play Oasis songs during his shows with his new band ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’.
“It's not like I'm Morrissey and I'm playing a song that somebody else wrote for me. Out of an hour and a half total, there'll be ten minutes of Oasis. So maybe four songs. I don't ever see a day where I don't play Oasis songs.”
One thing’s for certain – they won’t be playing any Beady Eye tracks in the near future.
