English Britpop icons Coldplay will release their new single ‘Paradise’ today, three years after their last album ‘Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends’ hit the shelves in 2008.
Also debuting on radio today, ‘Paradise’ is taken from the band’s forthcoming album ‘Mylo Xyloto’, due for release on October 24. The album is now available for pre-order through their website and iTunes – and Fans who pre-order the album on iTunes will instantly receive a download of ‘Paradise’. The track is also available to purchase as a single download – or you can listen to it embedded below.
‘Paradise’ follows the release of ‘Every Teardrop is a Waterfall’, which came bundled in an E.P. alongside album track ‘Major Minus’ and ‘Moving to Mars’.
‘Mylo Xyloto’ was produced by Markus Dravs, Daniel Green and Rik Simpson, with additional composition by Brian Eno. The album also includes the track ‘Princess of China’ which features vocals by Rihanna.
