Coldplay’s fifth studio album Mylo Xyloto will be released on 24th October on Parlophone Records – but right now you can see the official new video for ‘Paradise’, as well as hearing Fedde Le Grand’s remix of the track.
The new ‘Paradise’ video, embedded below, features a man dressed completely as an elephant running from two pursuers, before getting on a bike and heading to the London Underground. After catching a plane, he ends up in a beautiful island – his paradise. You’ll later get to see the whole band dressed as elephants performing the song. Meanwhile, Fedde Le Grande’s remix gives the tune a house and electro style rework for dance fans. You can also hear this track embedded below.
Produced by Markus Dravs, Daniel Green and Rik Simpson, Mylo Xyloto follows 2008’s Viva La Vida, which charted at No. 1 in 36 countries, including the UK and USA. It’ll be released in digital, CD and vinyl formats, with the 180-gram vinyl edition including a 12” x 36” poster.
A special limited edition Pop-Up Album version will also be available, which will include a 12" x 12" hardback book containing graffiti pop-up art designed by David A. Carter, vinyl, CD and exclusive content including photographs, excerpts from the studio diary and the band's personal notebooks.
Coldplay perform at Children in Need in Manchester this December, before heading off on their own three day stint later that month. If you want tickets, check the dates and details below the two videos.
