Steel Panther are preparing to unleash their 'Balls Out' album later this month and Stereoboard can exclusively reveal the band are planning a european headline tour, festival appearances and possibly a new record for 2012.
Steel Panther are currently looking forward to the imminent release of their new album as well as a December UK tour alongside legends Def Leppard and Motley Crue. The December tour will see Steel Panther support Motley Crue and Def Leppard, however, a Steel Panther european headline tour, including UK dates, as well as some festival appearances, are in the pipeline for Spring 2012.
In a recent interview with the spandex-loving foursome, drummer Stix Zadinia told Stereoboard that the band plan to embark on a full European headline tour in March next year.
“We are going to Australia in February for Soundwave Festival, but then the fans can expect a European tour in March. We should be starting in Norway, coming down all the way through Europe then ending up the in UK. That will be a headlining tour, so definitely one to check out.
Hopefully we’ll be back for festivals, but I don’t know which ones. We’re actually starting to write for the next record and this one’s not even out. We don’t want another two years; we want a year and a half.”
