X-Factor pop phenomenon JLS are back with their third album ‘Jukebox’, which gets a released on 14th November.
Even before its release, ‘Jukebox’ had already spawned its first No.1 in ‘She Makes Me Wanna’, an addictive summer disco smash featuring Californian electro star Dev. Written by RedOne (who’s worked with the likes of Lady Gaga and Usher) on the first day of recording sessions for the album, the track got the ball rolling for an album that will not only secure the boy’s position as Britain’s best-loved pop band, but bring their music to a wider audience.
Speaking about the album, Aston described the album as a variety of different styles and genres. “We called the album Jukebox because there are all sorts of songs on there. We spent six months recording with only one rule: there would be no boundaries. There are songs on the album fans wouldn’t expect from us and songs that couldn’t be by anyone else.”
The album’s second single, ‘Take a Chance on Me’, will see a release on 6th November – and it’s one of the tracks that takes JLS in to a new territory. A sensational, piano-backed ballad that nods to The Script, Bruno Mars and Ryan Tedder, ‘Take a Chance on Me’ is a classic, end-of-year love song.
2012 is shaping up to be another busy year for the boys, with them recently announcing the Fourth Dimension Tour, which sees the group playing in arenas around the country during March and April. If you need tickets for any JLS tour dates, check the details below and grab yourself a pair.
