Tenacious D New Album 'Rize Of The Fenix' Set For May Release

As announced today on Tenacious D’s website www.TenaciousD.com, their anticipated new album, 'Rize of the Fenix', will be released in May.
'Rize of the Fenix', the band’s first studio album in over six years is the third album from the group and is the follow-up to 2006’s 'The Pick of Destiny' and 2001’s critically acclaimed platinum debut album 'Tenacious D'.
Tenacious D will feature on the stellar line-up of this year's UK Download Festival. They have been confirmed to play on the Main Stage on Saturday 9th June, supporting Scottish sub-headliners Biffy Clyro and headliners Metallica.
