Eminem has been confirmed as the first headliner for Reading & Leeds Festival 2013, returning to the main stage where he performed 12 years ago.
Also confirmed for the joint-lineup festivals, which takes place during the bank holiday weekend in August, are Alt-J, Sub Focus, Skepta and Deftones, with many more acts and headliners to be confirmed over the coming weeks.
Early bird tickets for the Reading and Leeds Festivals are onsale now, with more tickets being made available in the new year once the full lineup is revealed.
To help spread the cost of your 2013 Reading or Leeds Festival tickets, organisers are introducing a £50 deposit scheme. Fans will be able to secure their place at the August Bank Holiday bash and pay the outstanding balance before March 31st 2013.
Next year's Reading and Leeds Festival will be expanding with the addition of three new stages. Festival organiser Melvin Benn revealed earlier this year: "There will quite a bit more dance music, quite a bit more other bits and pieces."
