If you were successful in buying tickets to see Beyonce in concert this April and May, consider yourself extremely lucky. After a frenzied rush during this morning's general on sale, its believed over one million fans battled it out to secure their place at the hugely anticipated 'Mrs Carter Show' gigs.
Ticketing websites braced themselves for the huge rush, with some servers struggling to keep up with the huge demand. Demand not seen since tickets went on sale for Take That's 'Progress' tour in 2011.
As is always the case with stars as huge as Beyonce, demand greatly outweighs the number of tickets available for their tours and many fans were left disappointed after tickets for the singer's eleven UK shows sold out within just 3 minutes.
Despite the majority of fans missing out, some fans were lucky enough to secure their place at the shows.
Beyonce will kick-off her 'Mrs Carter Show' world tour in Serbia on 15th April. The UK and Ireland shows begin in Birmingham on 26th April, with five dates confirmed for London's O2 Arena, three dates at Manchester's Arena and two dates at Birmingham's LG Arena and Dublin's O2.
Beyonce has promised fans that her 'The Mrs Carter Show', her first tour since her 'I Am...World Tour' in 2009, will be her most ambitious undertaking to date.
