Stereoboard recently reported that, amongst the hype surrounding the sales of tickets for Beyonce's 'Mrs Carter Show' UK tour, V Festival organisers had been busy signing up the singer as one of this year's headline acts.
Joining Beyonce as headliners, Kings Of Leon have recently taken a step out of the spotlight to return to the studio and work on a new album. No strangers to the festival scene, the Tennessee band will no doubt receive a warm welcome to the twin-site festival this August.
Festival director Simon Moran said: "With our line-up already boasting acts including Beyonce, Kings Of Leon and Emeli Sande, the 18th annual V Festival is once again set to be an unmissable weekend.
"We have a reputation for bringing fans the best world class acts and breakthrough artists, 2013 is set to be another sensational year."
V festival returns to Hylands Park in Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire, over the weekend of Saturday 17th August and Sunday 18th August. Manchester indie legends The Stone Roses and American rockers The Killers headlined last summer's weekend.
