It has been confirmed that US blues-rockers, Rival Sons, have parted ways with bassist Robin Everhart.
Speaking about the split, guitarist Scott Holiday said: “Regretfully, we have to let our fans know that Robin has left. It’s an amicable split and we shall all remain brothers. We wish him well.”
When asked about his decision to leave the band, Everhart revealed: “After years of intensive touring I’ve come to conclusion that I’m not a road warrior and the rock ’n' roll lifestyle is not for me. I’ll miss playing the music we made together and I’m proud of our many accomplishments over the last eight years. It’s been an honour to play for you – Keep On Swinging!”
Holiday added: “Although we will miss our pal, everyone is extremely excited and revved up for the next chapter.”
A replacement for Everhart is expected to be revealed in due course.
Rival Sons released their third album 'Head Down' last year. Check out the track Keep On Swinging, below.
