The Stranglers, 10cc's Graham Gouldman and Bad Manners are among nine more artists added to Wychwood Festival's 10th Anniversary line up.
The Stranglers will also be celebrating their own anniversary, bringing 40 years of hits to the Wychwood mainstage on Friday night. Joining them will be 10cc's Graham Gouldman and Heart Full of Songs, featuring acoustic classics, while Bad Manners will get crowds fired up on Saturday with their infectious ska.
Other new mainstage acts announced today include Cheltenham locals and Wychwood regulars, Thrill Collins, plus the unique sounds of Gaslight Troubadors who made an impact in 2013 with their debut album 'Clockwork Curiosities'. JJBurnel, bass guitarist of the Stranglers, said:
"As we are celebrating two anniversaries, it's gonna be a hell of a party!"
Over at the Big Top, promoters Smashing Blouse continue to champion new talent and sounds with the addition of Wolf Alice, a four-piece alternative rock band ready to round-up proceedings on Sunday night. Finally, the unique electro-brass sounds of Benin City will mesmerise crowds and kick off a weekend of special moments on Friday evening. More exciting new names added to the Big Top include groups Racing Glaciers and Pixel Fix.
