Wilko Johnson Tops Latest Sonisphere Line Up Announcement

Wilko Johnson, legendary guitarist of Dr. Feelgood, has been added to the line up for this year’s Sonisphere festival.
Johnson, who was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer in 2013, is set to release a collaboration album with Roger Daltrey of the Who on March 10 through the resurrected Chess label.
Joining Johnson at Knebworth Park between July 4 and 6 are Dog Eat Dog, who will play ‘All Boro Kings’ in full, Electric Wizard, Anti-Flag, Black Spiders, Brutality Will Prevail, Emp!re, Krokodil, Raging Speedhorn, Reckless Love, Stampin’ Ground, Tesseract, the Defiled, the Hell, the Hype Theory and the Safety Fire.
This year’s festival will be headlined by Metallica, Iron Maiden and the Prodigy, with Deftones, Frank Turner, Alice In Chains, Slayer, Mastodon, Airbourne, Limp Bizkit and Anthrax also on the bill.
