Perfume Genius Lines Up September Release For 'Too Bright'

Perfume Genius has confirmed that his new record, ‘Too Bright’, will arrive on September 22.
Mike Hadreas put together the follow up to ‘Put Your Back N 2 It’ with Portishead’s Adrian Utley, opting to introduce more experimental elements into the haunting sound developed on his first two studio efforts.
In addition to announcing the album’s release details, Hadreas has posted a new song, Queen, which takes aim at “gay panic”. He said: “Faces of blank fear when I walk by…if these fucking people want to give me some power – if they see me as some sea witch with penis tentacles that are always prodding and poking and seeking to convert the muggles – well, here she comes.”
