Hans Zimmer will perform at London's Eventim Apollo in the autumn and Stereoboard have teamed up with Eventim UK to offer a pair of tickets to his October 11 show to the winner of our new Gig Of The Week competition. Competition closes on Monday September 1 at 12pm - get your entry in now!
The Grammy, Golden Globe and Academy Award-winning composer will call in at the historic Hammersmith venue for two concerts, titled Hans Zimmer Revealed, on October 10 and 11.
For the two shows Zimmer will be accompanied by a band, mixing traditional orchestral instruments with rock and electronica, with each concert broken down into two parts: the first being some of Zimmer’s classic movie scores including Gladiator, The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean, and the second featuring re-imagined versions of some classic scores such as The Dark Knight Trilogy and Inception, with special guests from the rock and pop world.
