Girl Ray have shared the details of their debut album.
'Earl Grey' will be released on August 4 through Moshi Moshi. Check out Preacher, the latest single to be lifted from it, along with the record's artwork, below.
Discussing the track, guitarist and vocalist Poppy Hankin said:
"I wrote the melody for the first part a few years ago on a little toy Elvis guitar that I bought in a charity shop. Its tuning was really weird, and this song was the only thing I could really get out of it. The melody suited a love song, so I went with it."
The North London trio will play the Lexington later this month and their biggest headline show to date, at the Scala in London, on November 9. The band also have a number of festival sets inked in the diary, including the Great Escape, Glastonbury, Truck, Green Man, Sea Change and End Of The Road.
Girl Ray Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Tue May 23 2017 - LONDON Lexington
Thu November 09 2017 - LONDON Scala
