Spring King have posted a video for their new single, Animal.
The track, which was premiered on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show last night, is the first new material to emerge from the band since the release of their debut album, 'Tell Me If You Like To', in 2016.
Speaking about the song, vocalist and drummer Tarek Musa said:
“Animal takes its inspiration from our unshakable reliance on technology and how repetitive modern day existence has become. There is constant tension between human nature and technological progression: we are glued to technology, sometimes not sure how to let go, whilst simultaneously fighting the animalistic, hedonistic urge to unplug and completely lose ourselves.”
The Manchester quartet will perform at a number of festivals this summer, including Live At Leeds, Neighbourhood Weekender, Reading and Leeds, and Bingley Music Live. Following that they have lined up their biggest headline tour to date for this autumn.
