Taylor Swift has announced her seventh studio album.
‘Lover’ is due to arrive on August 23. After the release of ME! featuring Brendon Urie in April, the global superstar has also shared another cut from the record.
You Need To Calm Down is a synth-pop banger from the outset, but the single’s shining moment is its equality focused lyrics, calling out homophobic behaviour and internet trolls with the lines “shade never made anyone less gay,” and bursting with pride with the anthemic notes of “can you just not step on his gown?”
Tay Tay is ticking all the right boxes, with 'Lover' set to be even bigger than 2017's 'Reputation'. Listen below.
