The Naked and Famous have announced the follow-up to 2016's 'Simple Forms'.
'Recover' is scheduled to arrive in May, though an exact date has not yet been confirmed, and will feature the previously released single Sunseeker.
Alongside the album announcement, the New Zealand-based duo — Alisa Xayalith and Thom Powers —have shared its lead single, Bury Us, a club-ready indie-pop track with thoughtful lyrics. Powers said:
“Recover is about the duo, recovering ourselves, and our artistic vessel. The album is a statement of creative healing and a vehicle to plow forward into our own future. We hope that the messages of healing and resilience have some effect on its listeners.”
The Naked and Famous will play a handful of shows in Australia this spring. Head to their Facebook for further details.
