Bright Eyes have broken their nine year hiatus.
Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis and Nathaniel Walcott returned to the studio in 2019 to start working on the long-awaited follow-up to their last LP, 2011's 'The People's Key'.
The trio signed to Dead Oceans late last year and have recently teased new material on social media while preparing for a batch of live dates, including End Of The Road Festival in the UK, three US shows and a date in Japan.
Dead Oceans co-founder, Phil Waldorf said:
"Bright Eyes is not just a formative artist for me personally, but for countless people who work at Dead Oceans. To get to work with a band that is part of our own origin stories in falling in love with music is the rarest of privileges. We are thrilled to be part of another great chapter in Bright Eyes enduring legacy."
Oberst, meanwhile, has been busy over the last decade with various other projects, including solo material, Desaparecidos and most recently Better Oblivion Community Center, his collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers.
Bright Eyes Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Thu May 21 2020 - LOS ANGELES California - Hollywood Palladium (USA)
Fri May 22 2020 - LOS ANGELES California - Hollywood Palladium (USA)
Sat June 20 2020 - NEW YORK CITY New York - Forest Hills Stadium (USA)
