Paul Heaton Adds Second Halifax Show At The Piece Hall To Summer Tour Plans

Paul Heaton has announced a second show in Halifax.
The former Beautiful South and Housemartins vocalist will double up at the Piece Hall on July 22, the day before his previously confirmed concert at the venue, with both dates being part of the Live At The Piece Hall series. Support will come from Billy Bragg.
Heaton will also play a Forest Live show at the Westonbirt Arboretum in Tetbury on June 20, and the Villa Marina on the Isle Of Man on July 29. He'll be performing with his singing partner Rianne Downey on all dates, and tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday (November 29).
The new shows arrive ahead of his winter UK tour, on which he'll again be joined by Downey, with support coming from special guests The Zutons.
He'll also headline Bramall Lane Stadium, the home of Sheffield United Football Club, on May 25 with support from Lightning Seeds and Shed Seven.
Prior to that, he's lined up intimate unplugged shows in Sheffield, Kingston and Hull in early March, with arena dates in Dublin and Belfast following later in the month. Tickets for all previously confirmed dates are on sale now.
Heaton is hitting the road in support of his new album, 'The Mighty Several', which came out in October.
Other acts set to play next year's Live At The Piece Hall series include James, Gary Barlow, Pendulum, UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Dean Lewis, Weezer, Olly Murs, The Script, Simple Minds, Rag'n'Bone Man, Texas, Travis, The Saw Doctors, Echo And The Bunnymen, Supergrass, Faithless and Khruangbin.
