Ghostpoet has announced a new album.
The follow-up to 2017's 'Dark Days + Canapés' is called 'I Grow Tired But Dare Not Fall Asleep' and will arrive through Play It Again Sam on May 1.
Recorded in London and written, arranged and produced by Ghostpoet, the album features guest vocals from a mix of artists, including Art School Girlfriend, Skinny Girl Diet's Delilah Holiday, SaraSara and Katie Dove Dixon.
Head below to check out the record's artwork, tracklist and first preview, Concrete Pony, a brooding track which comes with a bizarre, cinematic video shot by Thomas James. The two-time Mercury Prize nominee, aka Obaro Ejimiwe, said:
"It’s a snapshot of where we're at as a society I feel, we seem to have everything and nothing at all. Infinite possibilities and choices galore but we seem set in stone, frozen in place, oblivious to the storm clouds in the distance…"
