Thundercat Shares New Single Fair Chance Featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Lil B

Thundercat has released a new song.
Fair Chance features Ty Dolla $ign with Lil B and serves as the latest preview of the Los Angeles bassist's new album, 'It Is What It Is', due out April 3 via Brainfeeder Records.
The track is about late rapper Mac Miller and cuts a more subdued vibe than the previously released singles from the record, Dragonball Durag and Black Qualls with Steve Lacy and Steve Arrington.
"This song is about Mac… when he passed it shook the ground for the artist community," said Thundercat. "Ty’s a strong dude and when he heard the song he knew exactly what it should be. I was there when he recorded it. We talked about what it was, and he did what he felt was right to it, and I love what he did".
The 15-track follow-up to 2017's 'Drunk' was produced by Flying Lotus and Thundercat. It also boasts contributions from Childish Gambino, Kamasi Washington, BADBADNOTGOOD, Louis Cole and Zack Fox.
Thundercat was recently forced to postpone his North American and European tour dates due to the coronavirus pandemic. Ticket holders are advised to stay tuned for more information.
