Hailee Steinfeld Unveils Self-Directed Video For I Love You's

Hailee Steinfel has released a video for her new single, I Love You's.
The singer and actress co-directed it with Sarah McColgan. The song is the second, following Wrong Direction, to be taken from the first half of her new two-part project. 'Part 1' will feature three more tracks and is due out on May 1.
Discussing the song and video, Steinfeld said:
"I had gone through a break up and felt for the longest time that I was in this confined space. It took some time but I eventually realised that even in a confined space, you can find yourself, you can learn to love yourself again, and you can give yourself the opportunity to heal. And that’s what this song and video mean to me. Eventually the walls can come down and everything will be ok.”
UPDATE April 28: Hailee Steinfeld has revealed that part one of her project will now be called 'Half Written Story' and will be released a week later on May 8.
“This project is a collection of songs that are so special to me and I’m incredibly proud of,” said Steinfeld. “This is the first body of work I’ve put out since my debut project in 2016 and I can’t wait for everyone to hear these new songs.”
