Madlib Posts Four Tet Collaboration Hopprock Ahead Of 'Sound Ancestors' Release

Tuesday, 05 January 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Madlib has released a new song, Hopprock.

Cast across a relaxed, guitar-driven beat, the instrumental track serves as the latest preview of the producer's forthcoming album 'Sound Ancestors'.

The anticipated collaboration with electronic musician Four Tet, who handles sample arrangements on the release, is due out sometime in January via Madlib Invazion, though a date is still to be confirmed.

It follows the previously shared Road Of The Lonely Ones which landed in December along with initial details of the project.
