Damon Albarn has shared a new song.

Following the atmospheric title track, Polaris serves as the next preview of the Blur and Gorillaz frontman's forthcoming second solo LP, 'The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows', due out on November 12 via Transgressive Records.

More uptempo than the previous cut, the single offers up a sombre aesthetic despite a thumping bossa nova drum beat which is punctuated by horn flourishes.

It arrives with a black and white live performance video — the first in a series of cinematic films called Sublime Boulevards - Performance Films — directed by Transgressive Records founder Toby L. Press play below.

Albarn will support the record's release with rescheduled gigs in London and Dublin, as well as rearranged stops across Europe in early 2022.

Prior to that, he appears at Manchester International Festival later in July, followed by a set at Edinburgh International Festival in August.

Damon Albarn Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
