James Morrison is readying a Best Of album.
The singer-songwriter's first 'Greatest Hits' album will arrive on February 11 and comprise new versions of 13 tracks from his 15-year career.
It'll also include the spirited, soulful single Who's Gonna Love Me Now?, one of two new songs on the collection, along with Don't Mess With Love. Morrison commented:
"It's been fifteen years since I started releasing music, and many of my songs over time have taken on a new life of their own: new emotions, new meanings and new feels both from the way I perform them and in the way my band has played them. I’ve also become a better singer and inhabit the songs in a different way now.
"I wanted to reflect all of that on this 'Greatest Hits' with reworked versions. I love all the original recordings They brought me to where I am today, but I see these new versions as their older siblings, and I really love them too. I’m so pleased with what we achieved here."
The news comes after the 37-year-old announced his Greatest Hits Tour for spring 2022. He'll also play rescheduled gigs as part of Nocturne Live and Kew The Music next summer. His last studio album was 'You’re Stronger Than You Know', released in 2019.
